Talented musician James Lee is back with an emotional, new track entitled “Over Us”.
Released on April 24th, the electronic rock song features a moody soundtrack of dreamy guitar riffs, melodic synths, heavy beats, and James’ earnest vocal performance. The track’s lyrics are honest, raw, and relatable, and as expected from the talented singer-songwriter, “Over Us” is as much a triumph of his vocal abilities and musicianship as it is of his articulate songwriting skills.
James took to Instagram to announce the release, thanking fans who have supported him through the crowdfunding platform Patreon and expressing that while working as an independent artist is challenging, the fans help push him along. He also provided fans with a smart link to the song on all major streaming and download sites, which you can check out here to see the full list.
You may know James from his days as a member of Korean band Royal Pirates, but he’s now an established independent artist with an array of songs and collaborations under his belt, making his solo debut in 2018 with the powerful and uplifting “The Light”.
