Zhou Mi recently celebrated his birthday and communicated with fans in a live stream on Weibo!
On April 19th, the handsome and talented star celebrated his 34th birthday (in Western age). Talking with his fans on Weibo, he opened up about many things, including the future of Super Junior M and the last time he saw the members. He revealed that he had just seen the members two days before his birthday.
“We had a gathering two days ago. We haven’t seen in other in so long. The members who were there were Leeteuk hyung, Siwon, Donghae, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung hyung, [Eunhyuk] and all the managers were there too. We were holding a goodbye party for two staff members who were leaving the label. I am very close to one of the staff members who is in charge of music production. They are the one who has chosen and produced all of the songs in my solo albums, as well as Super Junior and Super Junior M albums.
I haven’t been able to meet the members in so long! It seems everyone has been staying at home, so we were very happy to see each other… The members were surprised to see me, and I was surprised to see them also. It just seems like we haven’t seen each other in so long since everyone has been staying at home due to the [COVID-19] pandemic.”
After a fan mentioned that they missed Super Junior M, Zhou Mi responded, “Yes, there were six of the Super Junior M members who went to the party that day. So, we were all saying “Ah, when will Super Junior M ever have a comeback?” We all really want to be able to make a comeback and sing for everyone again.”
During his live video, Zhou Mi and Siwon also spoke on the telephone where fans could hear from Siwon too. Addressing listeners in Chinese, he wished Zhou Mi a happy birthday and expressed his wishes that everyone would also send their well wishes and congratulations to Zhou Mi on his special day. After speaking, Zhou Mi complimented Siwon on his Chinese skills and said that the pair of them should travel to China together, an idea to which Siwon agreed.
