WATCH: Former RAINZ Member Hong Eunki Dazzles In Intense “Breath” MV

Hong Eunki, formerly of “Produce 101” season two and the project group RAINZ, has released his first mini-album UNDEFINABLE:LOVE.

The album is described as the singer and actor’s own interpretation of love: something which is not always seen, but it’s unlimited and cannot be defined. Eunki chose the album’s theme to show diversity and to create a space where love could be expressed without restriction.

The lead song on the album is “Breath.” The trap-style, hip-hop song melds together a minimalist beat and intense brass sound. As for the lyrics, they express the feeling of a man losing his breath when he falls in love.

With the deep, pulsating bass and Eunki’s delicate— yet mature— vocals, the track carries a vibe of understated sexiness while mesmerizing fans from the first listen.

Meanwhile, full of stunning visuals and intense choreography, the music video perfectly captures Eunki’s artistry and fluid dance style.

Including “Breath,” the album features six songs that span a variety of different genres such as dreamy EDM (“Lost In You”), deep R&B (“Paranoid”), and the emotional ballad “Mistake,” a song which was released as a digital single last December. The “Intro” and “Outro” of the album both set the tone for the record and leave you wanting more.
