A Kpop powerhouse has returned!
On November 27th at 6 p.m. KST, EXO fully revealed their new album as well as the music video for their latest title track, “Obsession.”
The song comes in both Korean and Chinese versions. It is a hip-hop dance track which matches the music video’s intense experience of engaging in battle with one’s counterpart.
Their sixth full album boasts 10 songs in total that spans different emotions and genres. In accordance to their doppelganger concept, it comes in the regular “EXO” version and a darker, more sinister “X-EXO” version.
EXO will reportedly unveil their first live performance for the track at their special showcase in Ilsan called “EXO THE STAGE” on November 29th KST.
They will also hold a special exhibit called “EXO THE PLACE” in Itaewon which will be open for fans and the public to enjoy starting December 9th KST. It will give an exclusive look at the music video set, the outfits and props used, photos, and other art forms following their comeback theme.
Obsession follows EXO’s previous release Love Shot which was a repacked version of their hit album, Don’t Mess Up My Tempo. The group also released a special Japanese single called “Bird” which dropped last October.
