On August 26th at 12 p.m. KST, Park Jimin released her digital single and music video entitled “Stay Beautiful.”
The idol singer lent a hand in writing lyrics and composing for the track, expressing a message to put yourself first, to learn to love one’s self, and to not pay attention to what others say about you. It comes in two versions, the original and the “Jamie” version.
“Stay Beautiful” is a bittersweet song that doubles as a marker for the end of her seven-year journey with JYP Entertainment.
Park Jimin began garnering attention after winning popular SBS idol audition program “Kpop Star 2.” She signed with JYP Entertainment back in 2012 and became part of a duo with Baek Yerin called 15&.
