WATCH: SOHLHEE Breaks Into The Scene With “Purple” Featuring NCT’s Taeil

New soloist SOHLHEE has made her debut!

On March 30th at 6 p.m. KST, the singer released the music video for her first track, “Purple.”

The song is from the Trap Soul genre and reflects on the mix of emotions that love brings to someone who is inexperienced with its pull. Through the music, she compares the feelings of awkwardness and desire, as well as the good and bad moments, with the color purple.

NCT‘s Taeil lends his vocals to create a unique flavor and feel to the overall result of the track.

SOHLHEE is under an SMTOWN subsidiary, a hiphop company called All I Know Music (AIKM).  Her debut release contains two songs: “Purple” and “Far Far.” She was previously credited for co-writing lyrics in songs like the Korean version of NCT’s “Chain,” MONSTA X‘s “Turbulence,” and B.A.P.‘s “DYSTOPIA.”
