BLACKPINK captivated at their U.S. performance debut at the annual Universal Music’s Grammy Artist Showcase!
On February 9th, the group performed at the invite-only event and showcased their performances of “DDU-DDU-DDU-DDU” and “Forever Young.”
BLACKPINK was invited by the Universal Music Group (UMG) CEO himself, Lucian Grange, to show off their talents at the luncheon which was attended by over 300 attendees. Among them were high profile industry personalities, press staff, and fellow musicians.
The event, held a day before the main Grammy’s show, aims to present the budding and established artists under the record label. Last October 2018, BLACKPINK signed a contract that established them as a talent of Interscope Records, a label under Universal Music.
The girl group will also have appearances on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on February 11th, “Good Morning America” on February 12th, and at the Coachella music festival on April 12-14 and 19-21.
