SBS has released new stills of the highly anticipated drama “The Legend of the Blue Sea.”
The new drama stars Hallyu actors Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun. Mr. Lee plays Kim Dam Lim, the son of a nobleman in the Joseon era, while Ms. Jun plays Shim Chung, a beautiful mermaid. The two meet again in present day Seoul, where Kim Dam Lim has become a con-man with no memory of the mermaid. Meanwhile, Shim Chung struggles to adapt to life as a human.
The first stills of the A-list actors in their roles as the Joseon noble and mermaid have been released, showing Lee Min Ho looking regal and strong in his royal blue uniform, while Jun Ji Hyun looks beautiful and ethereal as a mermaid peeking out from a lush, nature scene.
The drama is scheduled to premiere on November 16th at 10 pm KST.
