Lee Sung Min, Kim Tae Ri, And More Win In Actor’s Category At 18th Director’s Cut Awards

The 18th  Director’s Cut Awards has finally declared the winners in Actor Category!

This year, actor Lee Sung Min won Male Actor of the Year for ”Spy Gone North,” while the Female Actor of the Year was awarded to Kim Tae Ri for her role in ”Little Forest.” EXO‘s Do Kyungsoo also won the Rookie Male Award for his outstanding performance in ”Along With the Gods.” Kim Da Mi, on the other hand, won Rookie Female Award for the thriller-horror film ”The Witch.”

The prestigious ceremony is held annually to award achievements for excellence in film industry in South Korea. It is presented by the Korea Film Director’s Network (KFDN) that is composed of 300 Korean filmmakers.

The association has awarded films which premiered on October 1, 2017 up to September 30, 2018.

A total of eight categories are being selected for the winners in Korean film industry, including the Director Category and the Actor Category. The Director category is composed of Best Director, Best New Director, Best Producer, and Best Independent Film Director. The Actor category is composed of Actor of the Year (Male and Female) and the Rookie Actor Award (Male & Female).

Meanwhile, the winners for the Director category have yet to be announced. Those winners will be revealed at the 18th Director’s Cut Awards ceremony on December 14 at 6:30 p.m. KST.
