On December 8th, Stone Music Entertainment uploaded a video for the official soundtrack of the popular Korean television drama “Memories of the Alhambra.” The new track is by LOCO and Yoo Sung Eun!
The song conveys a message of reassurance to the listener, repeating the lines “I’ll lead you with a light/ I’ll be by your side” and “Don’t be afraid of the dark/When you’re scared and blue/ I’ll be by your side” throughout the song.
It perfectly fits the mysterious vibe of the drama since Alhambra is a place filled with things and events that does not normally happen elsewhere. The lyrics lends encouragement and comfort in an unfamiliar and potentially dangerous situation.
“Memories of the Alhambra” is an ongoing series that is led by three very talented actors: Hyun Bin, Park Shin Hye, and Park Hoon. It also created a stir among K-pop fans after it was revealed that EXO’s Chanyeol was given a role in the series.
It premiered on December 1st, attracting a huge amount of interest with its theme of overlapping two worlds: the real world and augmented reality.
