Super Junior Rocks The House At 25th Telehit Awards In Mexico

Super Junior has made history once more!

On November 7th, the legendary K-pop group performed at the 25th Telehit Awards in Mexico, becoming the first Korean artist to not only perform at the Telehit Awards, but at any awards show in Latin America! The Telehit awards are a huge annual awards ceremony that celebrates the best in music, primarily in Latin music. Due to Super Junior’s recent successes in the Latin American market through collaborations with Latin Pop artists like Leslie Grace and Reik, the prestigious awards ceremony invited Super Junior to perform at the event.

The event was both televised and live streamed, with fans from around the world tuning in. Telehit also live tweeted the event and performance, taking up most of their SNS feed with comments, tweets, and retweets about the famous K-pop group.

The Aztec Stadium was filled with Super Junior’s fans, as evidenced by all the sapphire blue lights shining in the audience. Telehit went on to share that the sound of fans was truly deafening, later stating that the music of Super Junior had lit up the venue.

When Super Junior took a few moments to speak to the audience, they stated that they now felt like they were one of Mexico’s family. In response, Telehit said that they themselves now feel like a family with ELF after the bonding experience of the night.

The group performed some of their major hits like “Sorry, Sorry” and “Mr. Simple,” as well as their newest hit “One More Time.” The group also performed an entire song completely in Spanish, much to the delight of those in attendance who were touched at the group’s effort to perfect an entire song in Spanish. The song “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar” is a cover of a Luis Miguel song and was also released on Super Junior’s recent mini-album.
