Nike has just released a new short film that is sure to inspire today’s youth!
The latest release in their “Just Do It” film series, Nike chose to spotlight powerful and inspirational females from around the globe in a new video entitled “Rallying Cry.” The video not only features amazing athletes like Australian boxer Tayla Harris and Thai runner Rachwin Wong, it also includes some special faces that will thrill K-pop fans as well!
In one of the opening scenes for the video, none other than f(x)‘s Amber Liu is seen lifting weights and showing off her toned physique. The popular K-pop idol has really been dedicated to exercise and fitness over the past several years, even showing off her athletic ability in videos on her YouTube channel. As such, it should come as no surprise that the beloved idol— who has long since served as a role model to K-pop fans— should be one of the people approached by Nike for the video.
In addition, famous Japanese choreographer Koharu Sugawara also appeared in the film as well. Despite being from Japan, the famous dancer is very well-known to K-pop fans since she has been active in Korea as well. Choreographing for groups like SHINee and dancing alongside Lee Taemin in videos or on variety shows, this is another amazing lady that fans were thrilled to see in the new video from Nike.
Nike said the theme of the video is to showcase the power of female determination. As such, the “Rallying Cry” motto was chosen since it is used as a cry to assemble and advance and should be used to make the world listen.

In the meantime, congratulations to Amber, Koharu, and all the other amazing women for being chosen to feature in Nike’s newest short film.
