According to Nielsen Korea, the popular SBS program “Running Man” achieved high ratings with its latest episode on September 9th. In fact, the show reached 5.4 % in viewership rating for viewers in ages 20- 40.
The episode is the continuation of the “Truth or Dare” special, entitled “Dangerous Race 2: Eternal Love.” The episode had a star-studded guest lineup, including BIGBANG‘s Seungri, iKON‘s B.I and Bobby, Sunmi, Lee Elijah, Lee Si Ah, Lee Joo Yeon, and Kim Ji Min.
The guests showcased their impressive skills and unique talents which added many hilarious moments to the “Running Man” episode. In particular, Seungri made everyone laughs with his hilariously funny dancing skills, and B.I impressed everyone with his quick wit.
In fact, the most-watched part of the show was during B.I and Yang Se Chan‘s human curling segment which achieved 9.3% in viewership ratings alone.
With current ratings reaching this number, the show beat out other popular shows such as KBS’s “Happy Sunday” and MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer.” Overall, “Running Man” ranked third in its time slot after SBS’s “Ugly Duckling” and SBS’s “Master in The House.”
