EXO‘s Lay is back with a new music video for “SHEEP”!
On August 31st, the music video was officially released on YouTube, thrilling fans with the new sound of the Alan Walker relift of Lay’s hit song. In fact, the song got such a makeover that it almost sounds like an entirely new song. Since most remixes don’t change the majority of the song, this new version of “SHEEP” makes for a unique experience with its new beat, new lyrics, and a new arrangement. As such, it seems appropriate that the song is called a “relift” rather than a “remix.”
Meanwhile, the music video— directed by Kristian Berg and produced by Robert Erstad of SXBAO Media— shows Lay with a new sense of confidence that oozes out in his almost laid-back style throughout the video. Despite the intensity of the video’s plot and the otherworldly feel, viewers can’t help but notice how at ease Lay seems in front of the camera, proof of just how confidence and style he has gained through his highly successful solo career in China.
The two recently held a collaboration stage at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago where they performed the song and gave a short preview of the video.
