Red Velvet has finally revealed their official lightsticks!
On July 23rd, various social media accounts of SM Entertainment dropped photos of the group’s official first series of lightsticks. This is just in time for fans who plan to go to the group’s concert at Seoul’s Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium, which is being held on August 4th and 5th.
The lightstick is a pure white color with dark pink detail, and the group’s “RV” symbol can be seen inside the ornately shaped, pink light orb on top. They will go on sale from July 24th to July 26th, and fans are able to pick them up at the SK Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium.

On top of that, details involving an upcoming Red Velvet comeback were released earlier today!
Following rumors of the group filming a music video in Gyeonggi Province on July 19th, an SM Entertainment representative commented on July 20th that Red Velvet was indeed joining the summer rush and gearing up for a comeback in early August. On July 23rd, it was confirmed that the group would return on August 6th, and the album would be titled Summer Magic.
Various Korean media retailer websites have listed the album as having six new tracks, with one bonus track on physical albums. Although no official statement has been made, it is believed that physical albums will be available for purchase on August 11th.
Considering the popularity of Red Velvet’s track “Red Flavor,” which arguably became the freshest summer hit of 2017 in South Korea, the group is likely to follow in their own footsteps by releasing the next hottest summer track. Red Velvet’s last 2018 track “Bad Boy” still sits as one of the highest viewed K-Pop music videos on YouTube, currently at over 123 million views since January! After releasing “#Cookie Jar” a month ago, fans have been left wanting more and are incredibly excited.
Look forward to Red Velvet’s comeback, and definitely stay tuned for more information!
