The Boyz have transformed into lively ‘summer boys’ for their latest special single release, “Keeper”!
The track, which was produced by Block B member Park Kyung, was released on July 12th, 2018 at 6 PM KST. According to the group’s agency Cre.ker Entertainment, The Boyz plan to aim straight to the top of the summer charts with the song’s charming ‘fresh idol’ concept.
“Keeper” is a light-hearted dance number jam-packed with the group’s bright energy and has the members singing about how even though they cannot confess their feelings to the girl they like, they are going to loyally keep by her side. The single especially aims to raise fans’ anticipation for their upcoming album, the follow up to their second EP The Start, which they have been actively working on.
The “Keeper” music video was created by production team Flexible Pictures’ director Kim Ja Gyeong, who has worked on videos for a number of popular K-Pop acts including EXO and Red Velvet. In the video, the members can be seen in the classroom, on the tennis court, and more, offering warm eye contact and plenty of swoon-worthy visuals as part of the video’s ‘young love manhwa’ concept.
