June 9th, 2018, marks the eighth anniversary of the incredible Woollim Entertainment band INFINITE!
INFINITE has always been known to influence the Kpop world with their high level of dynamic performances, precise choreography, and CD-like vocal ability. In order to celebrate eight amazing years with these boys, let’s check out eight important and incredible live performances you simply cannot miss!
1. INFINITE’s Debut Stage
This debut stage was unlike any other with its unique shadowing and mirror choreography in the introduction, along with the fact that, despite being new to the industry, they decided to sing live. Let’s jump back to 2010 and watch this impressive performance of “Come Back Again.”
2. “Be Mine”
“Be Mine” became one of INFINITE’s most iconic songs both due to it’s incredibly catchy nature, and also because it became the group’s first music program win of their career. A lot was riding on the promotion of “Be Mine” to do well, so the group worked hard to make it happen.
3. 2014 MAMA Stage
Beginning this presentation with an incredibly artistic introduction that involved dance and projections of paint, INFINITE lit up the 2014 MAMA stage with an upbeat, remixed performance of their 2014 tracks “Last Romeo” and “Back.”
4. “Diamond”
This performance of “Diamond” will always give Inspirit’s goosebumps. The group’s incredible vocals are well showcased through slower tracks such as this. Even Dongwoo, despite being the rapper, is in charge of hitting the high notes in this track.
5. “Tic Toc”
The “One Great Step” tour was the birthplace of many incredible INFINITE stages, and one of these was “Tic Toc.” “Tic Toc” has been a favorite track among Inspirit since it was released, and the same goes for each live performance.
6. “Paradise”
Once the infamous black tank tops come to play, you know you are guaranteed an incredible set of performances. Check out this famous performance of “Paradise” from INFINITE’s 2015 Dilemma Tour in Japan!
7. New Life For Children Stage
Check out this performance by INFINITE from 2014 at the New Life For Children event. They sang one of their most popular album tracks, a song entitled “Can You Smile,” on an outdoor stage.
8. “Yu Huiyeol’s Sketchbook” Performance
INFINITE showed off their vocal skills to the ultimate level when they performed a medley of four of their popular songs on “Yu Huiyeol’s sketchbook”.
Bonus:
For 11 touching minutes, INFINITE sang portions of many of their popular tracks during “INFINITE Rally 3.” Inspirit happily sang along to each word, not wanting the band to leave the stage. This video really shows the love and appreciation between INFINITE and Inspirit.
There have been many incredible moments with INFINITE over the last eight years! the year 2018 has brought us a new full album Top Seed, the departure of member Hoya after the end of the group’s contracts (leading to a successful solo debut for him), and the recent, temporary departure of leader Sunggyu as he fulfills his military service.
