Girl group LOONA‘s third sub-unit LOONA/yyxy has officially made their debut – complete with collaboration from Canadian pop star Grimes!
The sub-unit – consisting of LOONA members Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Olivia Hye – released the music video for “love4eva,” the title track on their debut album beauty&thebeat, on May 30th at 6 PM. The song is about the radiant youth of love and features the girls in matching ‘charm school’ student uniforms. The music video was shot on location in Budapest, Hungary by production company Digipedi, who had worked on a number of LOONA music videos in the past.
“love4eva” was produced by E-TRIBE and BADD, who are responsible for a number of other popular K-Pop girl group singles including SNSD‘s “Gee.” The introduction was also recorded by Canadian indie-pop songstress Grimes.
Meanwhile, the ladies of LOONA/yyxy will be performing the song as a part of their upcoming two-day fan meeting “PREMIER GREETING – Line & Up” to be held at Seoul’s YES24 Live Hall on June 2nd and 3rd.
