The new film “Believer” continues to achieve amazing success on big screens!
According to the Korean Film Council, ”Believer” has reached 3,001,539 moviegoers as of 5 p.m. KST on June 2nd.
”Believer” maintains its number one spot at box office for 12 consecutive days, winning over American films such as ”Deadpool 2” and ”Solo: A Star War Story.”
Breaking the previous record, the film is now the fastest Korean movie to reach 3 million moviegoers. Another newer movie ”Keys to Heart” previously held the record and was the declared the only film to reach 3 million moviegoers this 2018. However, due to the success of “Believers,” those statistics have now changed.
”Believer” is based on a Hong Kong film which follows the story of a detective who plans on taking down a big drug corporation. It’s main cast includes the late Kim Joo Hyuk, Choi Jin Woong, Ryu Joon Yeol, Kim Sung Ryung, and Park Hae Joon.
To thank fans of the film, most of the cast shared handwritten notes for viewers.
