Kim Heechul of Super Junior and Buzz’s Min Kyung Hoon have finally released their first official MV as the new duo Universe Cowards (also written Space Cowards)!
The two singers previously released a song and music video through their show “Knowing Bros,” a track which did amazingly well on the charts and created as demand for them as an official duo. Now, they have released another track, the MV for which was also made through the JTBC program “Knowing Bros.” Lee Sang Min, also from the hit show, also makes a cameo in the MV, as well as Jisun from the new rookie girl group fromis_9. Meanwhile, fellow Super Junior member Shindong produced the video.
The sad song is entitled “Falling Blossoms” in English, but the Korean title is “후유증,” which translates as “after effects.” The bittersweet music video tells the story of a mentally handicapped older brother who adores his younger sibling and works hard to make him happy. The younger sibling is being approached by a local gang that is trying to force him to join. When he refuses, things take a tragic turn with which will leave viewers heartbroken. The video ends with Kyung Hoon discovering a letter in which Heechul’s character had written that he was so sorry and would work hard to become smarter.
Cha Gil Wan and Lee Sang Joon, who previously wrote “Sweet Dream” for the two, also composed and producer the new song for Heechul and Kyung Hoon.
