Lee Hyun Woo is only weeks away from entering the military.
As first reported by Korean media site TV Report, the actor is planning to enter the military this February, where he has been positioned as a front line of the army’s border defense. He recently completed an interview with the Military Manpower Administration.
According to those close with the actor, Lee Hyun Woo did not want to delay his military service like other celebrities, and will resume activities once he has completed his national defense obligations.
Lee Hyun Woo first debuted in 2004, starting off his career in a number of hit dramas, including “Master Of Study,” “To The Beautiful You,” “The Scholar Who Walks At Night,” and “The Liar and His Lover.” He later expanded into film, where he is most popular for his roles in “Secretly, Greatly” and “The Con Artists,” starring alongside fellow Hallyu stars Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Woo Bin, respectively.
