Idol group Super Junior is set to star in a new reality show, “Super TV.” The show will begin airing on January 26th at 11 p.m. KST on XtvN, CJ E&M’s new entertainment focused channel.
This is not the band’s first foray into television, of course. Last October, Super Junior appeared on “SJ Returns” and gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the countdown to their first comeback as a group in two years.
In a new trailer released for the program, the boys are shown pitching ideas to a group of directors and producers from MBC and tvN. The potential concepts don’t seem to entice the professionals, however, with producer Na Young Seok commenting, “I think that’s enough concepts to work with.”
Super Junior’s label, Label SJ, announced the show on January 2nd by stating: “The member started filming last month. They briefly stopped shooting following the recent tragic news, but they will resume filming.”
According to the show’s poster, “Super TV” will star Leeteuk, Kim Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Lee Donghae. It also appears that Choi Siwon will not be in show.
So, what you think? Do you think the show will be good? Will the absence of Choi Siwon negatively impact the show?
