After gaining recognition for his performance in his latest box office hit “Confidential Assignment“, Hyun Bin is back with another action-packed film. This time, however, his role in “The Swindlers” has him taking on a completely new character.
The story revolves around a conman who was reported dead after being involved in a major crime. After hearing the rumors spread that the criminal is alive, prosecutor Park Hee Soon ( Yoo Ji Tae), who was in charge of the grand fraud case at that time, begins to conduct his own private investigation to find the conman. While tracking down the mysterious conman’s whereabouts, Park encounters another conman named Hwang Ji Sung (Hyunbin), a man who has his own motives for finding the criminal. Having the same goal, the two decide to work together while hiding their own secret motives.
Other cast members include Park Sung Woong, Nana, Bae Sung Woo, Ahn Se Ha, Choi Deok Moon, Jung Jin Young and Heo Sung Tae.
“The Swindlers” is under Shoebox productions and is set to premiere on the big screen this coming November.
