BTS continues to break records!
As of September 19th, 6pm KST, BTS’s new “DNA” MV has crossed the 20 million views threshold! BTS has become the top Kpop music video to reach 20 million views in less than a day, beating the record previously held by Black Pink.
As of exactly 24 hours since release, BTS’s “DNA” now sits at a grand total of 20,975,068 views. This puts BTS on number 11 of the top 20 most-viewed videos on the internet within 24 hours, above huge hits such as Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” Nicki Minaj‘s “Anaconda,” and Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood.”
The only other Kpop act on the list is PSY‘s “Gentleman,” which reached 38.4 million views within the first 24 hours.
Congratulations, BTS and ARMY! Yet another win for Kpop!
