Rapper and iKON member Bobby has returned to the music scene with two brand new music videos!
On September 14th KST, YG Entertainment released the music videos for Bobby’s new tracks “사랑해 (I LOVE YOU)” and “RUNAWAY.” “RUNAWAY” is a slow, emotional track that is led by Bobby’s unique rap style. The video shows glimpses of Bobby in deep thought as he plans to run far away. Glimpses of a young Bobby are shown as well, as if the rapper is sentimental to his past. Bible verse Psalm 118:5 is shown at the beginning and end of the video which has a connection to the “runaway” theme and shows Bobby’s Christian upbringing and beliefs.
“I LOVE YOU,” however, is a more upbeat tropical house track that Bobby leads with a more lyrical rap style. The song expresses that no matter what happens, he still cares for his loved one. Bobby is seen with his girl as they enjoy a fun beach trip. Some viewers have noticed the similar shooting style the music video has to WINNER‘s “Love Me Love Me.”
Bobby has been active previously as a featuring solo artist as well as in MOBB with WINNER’s Mino. However, LOVE AND FALL is Bobby’s first full album which has 10 tracks in all.
