EXO continues to tease fans for their upcoming comeback!
On September 1st, around 10 am KST, SMTOWN dropped the next few individual teasers for EXO’s upcoming album. Xiumin and Chen are the next members to show off their super abilities in a teaser image reminiscent of comics or trading cards. The members are holding guns as they prepare for war, but behind them are seen evidence of their powers (snow for Xiumin’s frost power and lightening for Chen’s power). The concept for this comeback seems to follow a sci-fi, parallel universe theme that has been seen in previous EXO music videos such as “MAMA” and “What is Love.”
The teasers are for the upcoming repackaged album, entitled The War: The Power of Music. Along with the nine tracks from the last album The War, there will be three new tracks added. “Power” is the title track that was teased in their “#RF_05” concept teaser video released a couple of days ago. It is said to be an uplifting EDM track that member Chanyeol helped to produce. The other two songs are entitled “Boomerang” and “Sweet Lies.”
“The War: The Power of Music” and music video for “Power” are set to be released on September 5th. EXO will have their first performance of the comeback on the “M!Countdown” stage on September 7th.
