BIGBANG’s T.O.P To Finish Service As Public Service Worker

After being found unfit for duty as a police officer in July, BIGBANG‘s T.O.P has officially be reassigned status as a reservist and will finish his remaining duty as a public service worker.

On August 28th, the police stated that T.O.P had been transferred from the police department and placed under the jurisdiction of the Military Manpower Administration. He will be classified as a reservist soldier and will fulfill the rest of his military duty as a public service worker. This means, he will serve two full years.

In addition, his total time of service will be extended from his original discharge date since his time was essentially paused due to the effect of his drug charges. From the period of time beginning from when he was dismissed from duty as a policeman until the time his prosecution was finished, none of that time period will apply towards his two years of service.

In the meantime, it is reported that T.O.P is still receiving treatment for his mental issues and depression.
