WATCH: Golden Child Sings “DamDaDi” In Debut MV

Golden Child has finally made their long-awaited debut!

On August 28th at 6 p.m. KST, Golden Child dropped the music video for their debut track “담다디 (DamDaDi)!” The eleven members (one of which of which is Daeyeol, the brother of INFINITE‘s Sungyeol) are seen testing their teamwork and training to make a baseball team! The song is a refreshing and upbeat pop-rock track that’s fueled by rhythm and blues. Fans are already raving over the style of the song as it is a genre that is rarely touched on in the Kpop industry.

Golden Child is Woollim Entertainment‘s (home to INFINITE, Lovelyz, and Joo) first new artist since Lovelyz debuted back in 2014. Golden Child gained pre-debut popularity through their first broadcast program titled “2017 Woollim Pick” which is available to watch on the Naver V-LIVE app! Fans noticed a cute detail in the music video in that there are a few close-ups of the rings each member is wearing. The rings were bought by the band members themselves at the end of “2017 Woollim Pick” as a “band ring” to show their teamwork!

“DamDaDi” is the title track on the band’s first mini-album which is suitably entitled Gol-Cha! It was also released today, August 28th at 6 p.m. KST.

Feel free to check out the new music video below, then let us know what you think!
