WATCH: Girl Group S2 Makes Their Debut With “HONEYA” MV

New girl group S2 has made their debut with a track called “허니야 (HONEYA).”

On August 23rd KST, the six-member girl band’s music video was dropped. The song “HONEYA” is a lively, guitar-based pop tune that has light brass and techno influences. The song has a style reminiscent of previous songs from groups such as GFriend and Apink. The music video shows off the girls in a vast desert, but soon afterwards, they are seen enjoying a summer trip at a tennis court and in the pool.

The ‘S’ in S2 stands for ‘Serendipity’ and the combination of the S and 2 is supposed to represent the shape of a heart. The composer of the song, Bull$ EyE, has worked with groups in the past such as UP10TION, 4minute, and April.
