ORIGINAL: Jeong Sewoon is ready for his official solo debut with “JUST U”!
On August 23rd KST, STARSHIP Entertainment (home to artists such as MONSTA X, WJSN, Mad Clown, and Boyfriend) released a teaser video for Jeong Sewoon’s solo debut!
The short video shows clips of a simplistic, yet colorful music video, along with a snippet of the acoustic, R&B track “JUST U.” It is produced by duo GroovyRoom who is known for producing “Heyahae” by YG Entertainment rapper ONE and “Loyalty” by Ailee. The song will also feature popular rapper Sik-K!
Sewoon original gained popularity through “Produce 101: Season 2” where he made it all the way to the top 20 before ultimately being cut at the number 12 spot, just outside of the official winning lineup for Wanna One. However, fans were quickly assured by his company he would be making his way into the entertainment industry quite soon.
The full music video and mini-album, entitled EVER, are both set to be released on August 31st at 6 p.m. KST!
