Jessica Jung has made her solo comeback!
On August 9th at 6 p.m. KST, the lovely singer from Coridel Entertainment dropped the music video for “Summer Storm.” The video shows Jessica thinking back on a past relationship where she was smiling and happy, but the present has left her by herself and feeling lonely. As the memories of the past surround her, she walks through the house amidst a deserted party scene, left with no one to celebrate and half-heartedly picks up a party favor and blows it. All fans agree the MV is a nod to her past with SNSD, making it all the more bittersweet as she sings her heart out in the emotional song.
“Summer Storm” is the title track off her new mini-album of the same name. It was released in honor of her 10th anniversary since her debut. She originally debuted as a member of the popular girl group SNSD before leaving SMTOWN and becoming a soloist.
