WATCH: Samuel Is Happily “Sixteen” In Solo Debut Music Video

Kim Samuel has finally made his solo debut with a music video for title track “Sixteen”!

On August 2nd at 4 p.m. KST (also written as 16:00 hours), Brave Entertainment dropped the music video for Kim Samuel’s solo debut track, “Sixteen.” The song’s lyrics show Samuel talking to the girl he likes and when he finds out she’s also sixteen years old, he promises to make it a sweet year for them both. In the music video, Samuel is seen chilling with friend, dancing his way through a super market, and over-all just enjoying his young life. The choreography is smooth but upbeat and goes well with the trance-influenced, hip-hop track. Changmo of Illionaire Records features for the rap portion of the song.

Kim Samuel previously gained popularity through his time on “Produce 101: Season 2,” as well as his time promoting under the stage name PUNCH as part of 1PUNCH, a duo which includes YG Entertainment‘s new singer ONE. In addition, Samuel also gained attention during that time for his song with American artist Silento titled “Spotlight.”

“Sixteen” is the title track of Samuel’s first mini-album of the same name. It has six track and features artists such as Changmo, Maboos, and Chungha.
