We’re getting closer and closer to Red Velvet‘s comeback!
On July 28th at midnight KST, SMTOWN took to YouTube and Naver’s V-LIVE app to post a short video teaser for the upcoming “빨간 맛 (Red Flavor)” music video.
This is the first video teaser for the upcoming comeback, having followed multiple previously posted image teasers. The members of Red Velvet are seen partying and enjoying an energetic summer atmosphere. On top of that, there seems to be unique scenes of each member interviewing large pieces of fruit— perhaps in an “infomercial” type setting. It will be very vibrant and colorful, following a similar pattern to previous Red Velvet music videos.
The video’s description claims the song “is an energetic, up-tempo dance summer song that is as sweet and fresh as Red Velvet.” It certainly seems that way, judging simply from the eighteen second clip we’ve been given.
“Red Flavor” is the title track for their fifth mini-album The Red Summer. Both the album and music video will be released on July 9th at 12 p.m KST.
