As BTS‘s 4th annual FESTA came to an end, Suga released a new version of “So Far Away” on Soundcloud, including Jin and Jungkook as a surprise.
Compared to the original version released as Agust D featuring Suran, “So Far Away” with Suga, Jin, and Jungkook expresses a melancholy feel with the added strings and piano, as well as Jin and Jungkook’s sorrowful tones.
Suga shared a short message on BTS’s blog about his original mistake in writing “don’t far away” instead of “don’t fall away” for the song and said he was glad to have the chance to share the corrected lyrics with this version. He also expressed that this version is closer to the feel and vibe he originally intended to release.
