TVXQ‘s Yunho has been cast in a new drama!
On May 25th KST, it was revealed that the singer and actor would be making his TV comeback in the new drama “Meloholic” (working title). Yunho has been cast in the lead role of a psychic who meets and falls in love with a women suffering from multiple personality disorder.
The drama is based off the webtoon of the same name and will be led by Song Hyun Wook, the brilliant producer behind the hit dramas “Another Oh Hae Young” and “Marriage, Not Dating.”
Yunho made several acting cameos in the early stages of his singing career before being cast in his first major role in 2009. However, it wasn’t until his performance in the 2013 drama “King of Ambition” that he made his onscreen breakthrough, leading him to win a People’s Choice Award for Best Actor at the Seoul International Drama Awards.
This will be Yunho’s first project since finishing his military service last month. Group member Changmin is still currently serving in the military and will join Yunho upon completion so they can continue activities in music once more.
