BTS is officially headed to the U.S. for the upcoming Billboard Music Awards!
Late in the evening on May 19th KST, the group was spotted at the airport as they arrived for their flight to Las Vegas. Some of the members wore an upgraded boyfriend look with chic, all-black outfits and cute accessories like beanie hats and sunglasses. Others, such as Rap Monster and Jin, looked summery and handsome in classic chinos and oxford shirts. Meanwhile, V went full out dandy in fashionable menswear outfit that looked straight out of the magazines.
BTS is the first Kpop artist to ever be nominated for a Billboard Music Award, and one of the few Kpop artists to receive an invitation to attend a mainstream red carpet event in the U.S. As such, it was expected that international press would be following them with cameras from the moment they arrived at the airport to the moment they return back home. With the eyes of the entire music world upon them, we have to wonder if they feel any extra pressure than normal. From the slightly nervous looks on their faces in the photos, it seems they might be feeling just that!
