MONSTA X’s Hyungwon Receiving Treatment For Ankle Injury

MONSTA X member Hyungwon has apparently been receiving continuous treatment for an ankle injury.

It has been revealed that the MONSTA X member suffered an ankle injury while practicing last month. The group has been promoting their latest title track, entitled “Beautiful,” on music programs until just recently. Hyungwon performed on stage in spite of the pain caused by the injury, without any revision to the choreography, in order to not let fans down.

Starship Entertainment and his fellow members have been encouraging Hyungwon to focus on his treatment. However, he participated in all schedules, revealing his strong commitment to the promotional activities. MONSTA X recently arranged an acoustic version of “Beautiful” for music broadcasts, which seems to have been a measure taken to lessen the strain on Hyungwon’s injured ankle.

Hyungwon is under continuous treatment, but he is still suffering from pain due to the group’s busy schedule. Currently, there are discussions regarding whether the overseas performances will be done as prepared or revised due to Hyungwon’s injury.

MONSTA X will be participating in KCON 2017 in Japan, as well as kicking off their first world tour with concerts in Seoul in June.

We wish Hyungwon a safe and speedy recovery!
