We’re getting closer and closer to 9MUSES‘s (also written NINE MUSES) long-awaited comeback!
Multiple teaser photos have dropped over the last few days in anticipation for 9MUSES’s full comeback. All of the pictures follow a similar concept of bright red colors, smudged lipstick, and a natural, outdoor setting. The members are beautifully colorful and rightfully “muse-like” in each their own way.
Along with all of the teaser pictures, a comeback trailer was posted on the band’s official YouTube channel a few days ago. It gave us a glimpse into the theme of the music video concept. 9MUSES are obviously going with a darker theme this time around as the video boasts a dark filter, quick flashes of light, and a frightening forest environment. It seems like they may be attempting a vampire concept or something similar.
This will be 9MUSES’s first comeback since multiple member graduations and changes. The remaining members of 9MUSES are Sungah, Kyungri, Hyemi, Sojin, and Keumjo. Sungah is currently on hiatus as she pursues work as a DJ, which leaves the four members who happen to also be the lineup of subgroup 9MUSES A.
The album, titled Identity, is set to release on June 16th at 6 p.m. KST, along with the music video for title track “Remember.”
