Voting has now commenced for the 2017 Melon Music Awards!
After looking at digital sales and Melon’s “Weekly Popularity Award,” Melon has revealed the 40 qualified nominees who stand a chance at becoming one of the Top 10. Fans can vote for their favorite artists now until November 12th through Melon’s official website or mobile app.
The nominees includes artists like EXO, WANNA ONE, G-Dragon, BTS, TWICE, HIGHLIGHT, BLACKPINK, and more.
The Top 10 with the most votes will then move on to the next round and be eligible for awards. From there, the results will be based off of 20% voting and 80% digital sales. The next round of voting will also consist of 16 categories and will be open from November 13th to December 1st.
Melon’s official award show will be held December 2nd at the Gocheok Sky Dome with “Music, Awake Your Dream” as the concept.
