One of the things that first fascinated me with K-pop were the brightly colored clothes and even brighter colored hair. I loved the entire aesthetic of K-pop back in its classic days of electronic-based music and boxed-set music videos.
As such, I’ve seen a lot of idols come and go, many of them rocking a bright look, but perhaps none do it as well as EXO‘s Xiumin! From bright red to pastel green, Xiumin changes his hair as quickly as I change TV channels when I’m bored.
So, does this make him the ultimate king of colored hair in K-pop? In my opinion, yes.

1) SAPPHIRE BLUE
Xiumin may be a hardcore fan of TVXQ, but he certainly looked like an SJ fan when he rocked this gorgeous, sapphire blue color!
2) PRETTY PINK
Xiumin is incredibly beautiful, so he looked extra angelic with this soft, lovely shade.
3) ORANGE SUNSHINE
With such a sunny, sweet personality, this bright orange suited Xiumin to perfection!
4) VIVID VIOLET
Many people have gone for a pastel purple, but this vivid shade of the hue looked amazing on Xiumin.
5) FLAME RED
Somewhere in between orange and red, this sexy color gave Xiumin a fierce, fashion-forward look.
6) CARAMEL BROWN
It’s not always about funky tones or bright colors! Xiumin proved just how classic this caramel color can be.
7) EMERALD GREEN
This jewel-toned look was sublime on Xiumin! In fact, I wish he would bring it back in the future!
8) GOLDEN BLONDE
Xiumin has rocked many shades of blonde, but one of my favorites was this summery, golden look.
9) LOVELY LAVENDER
This color may look soft and sweet on most others, but Xiumin made this look super sexy!
10) CLASSIC PLATINUM
Sometimes the best color is a distinct lack of color. When Xiumin bleached his hair, he left fans even more in love with his handsome looks!
11) DEEP MAGENTA
Not many male idols have been able to pull of this shade so perfectly, but if anyone can, it’s Xiumin!
12) MINT GREEN
Refreshing and chic, this mint green was a great addition to Xiumin’s hair portfolio.
13) SILVER ICE
Many people went all out for the grey hair trend, but Xiumin kept things slightly different with a chilly, silver tone.
14) COTTON CANDY BLUE
Although we started the list with Xiumin’s deep sapphire blue color, he also rocked this bold hue of cotton candy blue!
15) BLACK ONYX
EXO-L have known for ages that Xiumin was incredibly gorgeous, but even non fans suddenly fell in love when he did promotions for “Ko Ko Bop” and sported this deep, black color.
